Welcome to Team Wright Racing online

December 2011 update:

Our new car is well on the way to being completed. The chassis, suspension, diffuser and cockpit panelling are all finished.

Our 400+bhp race engine is currently being prepared by a specialist and will be ready for installation midway through the 2012 season. Until then, we will run a 380bhp 4.5l AJP engine, and expect the decrease in power to be balanced out by weight saving innovations on the new car.

We have christened the car 'The Tuscanaero' - the aerodynamic design and clamshell body made this name a clear-cut choice.

Our traditional colour scheme of black, white and silver has been implemented by a talented up and coming painter/finisher, the results of which are spectacular. Photos will appear here in early next year along with the launch of our brand new website.

2012 Season Update:

Team Wright Racing are delighted to announced that we will be competing in the DDMC organised Northern Saloon and Sportscar Championship (NSSCC) in 2012.

We currently have two TVR's in build, which will run in class A1, in accordance with the DDMC's technical regulations.

Two further additions to TWR will be announced in due course.

The NSSCC is a multi marque Championship, featuring TVR, Porsche, Lotus, Morgan, Ginetta and much more. Every event is a double header with full grids of 25 cars or more. The home of the NSSCC is Croft Circuit in North Yorkshire (four events in 2011), with further double-header rounds at Oulton Park, Cadwell Park and Knockhill. Much more information can be found here.

TWR are currently building a self-contained hospitality awning, in addition to an overhaul and re-livery of the race trailer. Photos will appear here in due course.

Team Wright Racing will launch a new website in 2012, which is being exclusively designed by bowerslive.com/

Any interested parties would like to explore opportunities (drivers, team members, sponsors, etc) for the 2012 season are invited to contact Richard Wright here. All inquries will be answered and treated with the strictest confidence.

TVR2 Update:

TVR No.2 is currently on display at the Lakeland Motor Museum, near Ulverston in Cumbria. This is a fantastic opportunity to see the car is a very unique setting. Please find further details here: http://www.lakelandmotormuseum.co.uk/news.php
