Dean Cook wins the TVR Challenge race at Brands Hatch

Please note that the PowerNights event at Silverstone in June has been cancelled. However, to compensate for this, Team Wright Racing car no. 9 will be competing at Croft on June 14th.

05/05/08 Snetterton:

Race 1:

• Team Wright Racing's Dean Cook took the Class A / overall win in race one, which was driven at a blinding pace, Dean took the chequered flag by 8 seconds from Marc Hockin
• Richard Wright drove a superb race as he finished 5th in the no.9 Tuscan GT, smashing his best lap time from last year by just short of 6 seconds
• Gary Lancashire also showed great improvement by taking several seconds off his best times last year, as he drove his no.44 Tuscan to 9th place
• Phil Dickinson, in his first ever competitive race, showed great promise in the no.16 Tasmin

Race 2:

• Dean Cook finished in second place, following a titanic battle with Marc Hockin
• Ben Wright drove a sensational race at a searing pace, despite gearbox troubles, taking the no.9 Tuscan GT to 3rd place after starting at the rear of the grid, before spinning out yards from the finish line
• Gary Lancashire drove another excellent race, taking a further second off his best time, as he steered his Tuscan into 6th position
• Phil Dickinson continued the pace and promise showed in race one, consistently improving his lap times as he finished in 12th place
